Erik Philbrook is AVP of Communications & Media for ASCAP and serves as Editor in Chief of Playback, ASCAP's magazine. In addition to creating video and editorial content and overseeing the Society’s various media channels, he has played an important role in the success of the ASCAP “I Create Music” EXPO, where he has interviewed on stage many of ASCAP’s leading songwriters and composers, including Tom Petty, John Mayer, Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora, ELO’s Jeff Lynne, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis and many others.
