Dr. Cooper retired in 2012 as Ohio State Fire Marshal and currently serves as the Executive Director of Medical Education and Research with Akron General Health System in Northeast Ohio. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Event Safety Alliance (ESA) and as the Managing Editor of the Event Safety Guide, the ESA’s best practices reference.
