While the internet has exploded the new music phenomenon, it's also given rise to a nostalgic generation eager to soak up sounds of the past. As 90s albums hit their twenty-year anniversary and are folded into the world classic back catalog, they become part of the long history of inspiration driving much of what we hear today. We'll discuss the state of the legacy market, the archivists' fight for preservation, and the staying power of good music.

John Jackson is the VP of A&R and Content Development for Sony Music's Legacy Recordings. John oversees the audio and visual content for Legacy, where he has worked since 1998. During his tenure, John has managed the catalog for many artists including AC/DC, Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, Billy Joel, Willie Nelson and others. He received the first BA in Rock And Roll History from Indiana University in 1997.

An A&R executive and producer for Universal Music Enterprises, UMG's catalog group, Harry Weinger has delivered hundreds of reissues and compilations, focusing on the world of soul, funk and jazz, and is a two-time Grammy winner for his work. He is also an adjunct professor at NYU's Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music.
